The beauty Schemes of the Batam at Night

Have we ever tried to see the face of Batam city at night? She has talked a lot, though we never hear, never pay attention to. We work fatigue from morning to evening and even from night until morning. Makes you forget the sweetness of her seclusion at night. Once you've seen it maybe once when she was young, and dull. As the face of a girl who never washed. But this time, try, try to see it again. Batam has to grow and mature. With so much of its charm, being beautiful and shapely.

Look at the Engku Putri Park at Batam Center, City Park for young and old who traveled with the virtual world for installed hotspots throughout the park. Hangout, a place to skate board, or just a place to joke around with friends. City Park near the beach. You can even hear the gentle sound of waves and sea breeze gently caressing. The park is not always faithful to accompany her to sleep.

Look at the face of Batam’s town from Smile hill, sit back while talking enjoy corn on the cob looked down to see the sparkling colorful lights. Reassuring, to know whether you know why this hill is called a smile? You certainly can imagine when you're looking at the beauty of the twinkling city lights flickering from this hill with the people you love, you will have feeling of happiness and it will make you smile, so why it called smile Hill :-). Banish your problem with a smile and a look at this city along with your closest of friends from this hill.
Look at Nagoya and Jodoh area in batam, this area also save a lot of stories from the past until now. Nagoya with Jodoh is the nightlife center in Batam. If you want to remove your tiredness by finding amusement  or just want to find your soul mates for the night, then  go to place where young people hang out from morning to morning. The number of entertainment venues and cafes in this area did not stop her from metropolitan lifestyle. Great hotel, shopping center, road verges stalls, you can easily meet. Everything you're looking for is in this area. Foreign tourists gather every night in this area. Fill the café and luxury hotel. So look and feel her.

You will be amazed to know that the attractive island of Batam is probably the most affordable tourist vacation spot in Southeast Asia. This small island was formerly well-known for its illegal casinos which are closed down by the federal government currently. Now it ranks second within the checklist of most preferred tourist vacation spot after Bali for its stunning beaches.

Day 1: Arrive and Relax

Your first day in Batam is the day you let go of the need to fill the hours, the day that reminds you of the aim of your vacation. Spend the day you arrive doing nothing. Order room service or take a nap, but do not make plans.

Day 2: Soak up the Sun by Take a Day Trip

In the Morning

Visit Barelang Islands Area (Recommended)
The Barelang Islands are basically 6 islands connected by 6 bridges. Some of beaches there are secluded and off the beaten track offering the tourists to be away from the crowds and enjoy some privacy. Some of the beaches are Pantai Pasir Putih (White Sands Beach), Pantai Melayu (Melayu Beach) and Memory Hill Beach. Toilets and changing rooms are available at some of the beaches while other has shacks where you can grab a snack.

Down at the Barelang Islands, connected to Batam by a series of 6 bridges, there are many good beaches, as well as an old Vietnamese refugee camp, that was occupied for 20 years by Vietnamese boat people, and has now been restored as a tourist attraction. This is also a favorite route for cyclists.

Visit Old Camp Vietnam Village

This is the ultimate destination if you are interested in history tourism. This is the site of the refugee camp of the Vietnamese Boat People Village between 1976 and 1996. The most visited place here is the Quan and Tu Monastery which was built in 1984.

In the Afternoon

Visit Nongsa Point Marina Beach

It is the islands hottest tourist area. The seaside scenery surrounded by lush green forests takes you away from the pressures and hurdles of city life. You may discover the tradition via organized treks and bicycle rides in the area. To get the best out of this beach, the most effective time to visit would either later afternoon or within the evening. It's also one of the standard spots for snorkeling around the reefs.

At the Night

The nightlife is Batam is divided into the different areas of the region but mostly concentrated at Nagoya city area.

That is the most bustling area after hours stuffed with pubs and bars. The most recent and hottest place that is opened in the area is the Pacific Disco on the Pacific Hotel. It is constructed in the form of a ship and aptly nicknamed the 'Titanic'.

Along the streets and side roads are numerous pubs, with many side by side. Lucy's Oarhouse is a popular spot, which also serves meals & snack food. They have Batam's only GoGo bar, PP Banana which is upstairs and is open from 2pm on Fri / Sat / Sun only.

Across the road from Lucy's is Rio Rita. Stepping out from Lucy's and turning right you will discover many more bars. The first is the Jungle Bar which was one of Batam's earliest bars and still lives on today. Next is Classics and across from there is the Red Cock Inn which serves some very tasty Western and Asian dishes. Next door to Classics is the Ice Pub, also one of Batam's earlier pubs.

Steps Music Lounge is a large pub that regularly has live music, either a resident group or a visiting band, and gets pretty lively on Saturday nights. The Hard Chilli Cafï's next, which is located upstairs, followed by George's Bar and Last Pub. A bit further along is the Bistro which serves up some good food, and then there is the Red Rose and Beyond Bar.

Travel to Batam: Dragon Fruit Plantation in Barelang Bridge and Seafood

When you arrived in Batam, Some tour guide told you to try a cake made of dragon fruit. Probably you will be wonder if the dragon fruit is the typical fruit in Batam?

When visiting the Barelang Bridge, you also can go to dragon fruit plantation there and you will know that the dragon fruit is the typical Batam’s Fruit.
The dragon fruit plantation normally located close to the beach. This is a perfect location to plant the dragon fruit because based on the growers the dragon fruit need medium that nutrient-rich, sandy, sunny place and not muddy (therefore the dragon fruit crops shouldn't be watered too often) to grow. There are two kinds of dragon fruit which is split according to its color, white and red( actually its purplish red).

It was nice to be in this plantation. The atmosphere isn't too crowded, the scenery is so stunning and crucial is you'll be able to enjoy the dragon fruit fresh from the plantation.

From the dragon fruit plantation, we can head to...seafood restaurant! It feels waste if we went to Batam but don't eat seafood.

In Barelang, there are many seafood restaurants that built above the sea. The restaurant was built using woods and drums as a baseline. In my opinion, this restaurant is very unique. Because it is built above the sea, when the ocean waves come, we can feel the restaurant moves. When the sea water gets high then the restaurant will go up. There are the houses of fishermen in beside this seafood restaurant.

In the center of the restaurant, there are many small pools like this that contain fish, shrimp, crabs and others, so you can choose directly the seafood that you want to eat.
