Galang Island Batam, Memory of a Past Tragedy

In 1979, the arrival of Vietnamese refugees to Indonesia becoming increasingly numerous, so it needs to set up a shelter area for them. Batam Night Life in the Fasting Month of Ramadan

The Batam municipality is allowing nightspots to operate during most of Ramadan only will be closed for nine days with a 3-3-3 format in the month of Ramadan. According to Head of Public Relations of Batam municipality, entertainment venues will be closed the day before Ramadan, Ramadan day 1-2,   Ramadan day 16-18, then the last day and two day after Ramadan. For night spots such as discos, pubs, karaoke bars, night clubs, etc., can be started from 21.00 pm until 2:00 pm.
